2024 Backpack and School Supply Drive

Help Support Local Schools!
Assemblyman Joseph Danielsen of the 17th Legislative District is running a backpack and school supply drive for local schools in Piscataway, Franklin, New Brunswick, Milltown, and North Brunswick. To help support Assemblyman Danielsen's Backpack initiative, AIMS Education has partnered with the nonprofit organization Be Positive. We will be collecting donations at the Piscataway campus and Edison Center. You can take part in this annual charity drive by donating the following items:
- Backpacks
- Colored pencils, crayons, or pens
- Glue sticks
- Personal-size hand sanitizer
- Highlighters
- Pencil cases/pouches
- Solid-color pocket folders
- Single-subject notebooks
- Rulers
- Personal-size tissues
- Store gift cards only
All school supplies can be dropped off on the 2nd floor of the Piscataway campus or the reception area of the Edison Center. Donations will be accepted until August 29, 2024. Please donate new supplies only.
