Ana Quezada

Background and Experience at AIMS

Ana Quezada, a 50-year-old Colombian native who has been a United States citizen for 30 years, is a proud graduate of the Anesthesia Technician program at AIMS Education. With a loving family including a husband and two accomplished daughters, Ana's journey into healthcare was driven by a desire to serve others and make a meaningful impact.

Having worked in retail for years, Ana transitioned to a role at Penn Medicine as a housekeeper before discovering her passion for patient care. Her experience at Penn Medicine fueled her interest in healthcare, leading her to pursue a career as an Anesthesia Technician through AIMS Education.

Reflecting on her time at AIMS, Ana speaks highly of the program's excellence. "AIMS was a door to help me obtain my Anesthesia Technician [Certificate]," she says. "The program was amazing." Ana particularly praises the internship experience, acknowledging its challenges while noting its tremendous value in her learning journey. "The internship was a challenge but tremendously helpful; I enjoyed and endured it every single day," she adds.

Success after Graduation

Ana's dedication and hard work paid off when she was offered a position at Penn Medicine's Operation Room Department as an Anesthesia Technician. "I am very excited to keep learning and growing in the healthcare field," Ana remarks, highlighting her commitment to ongoing professional development and service to patients.
