RWJBarnabas Health Leaders Visit AIMS Campus
A leadership team from Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health (RWJBarnabas Health), the largest healthcare system in New Jersey, recently visited AIMS Education’s main campus in Piscataway, NJ. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen the long-standing partnership between the two organizations, explore new avenues for collaboration, and expand clinical opportunities for AIMS Education students.
The RWJBarnabas Health team, including Lauren Burke, Vice President Cardiac Quality and Performance Improvement at RWJBarnabas Health; Maureen Bowe, Administrative Director of Cardiology Services, Renal, & Nursing Resources at Monmouth Medical Center; John Sayson, Director of Patient Care for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Cardiopulmonary Rehab at Monmouth Medical Center; Joji Jowett, Associate Director of Cardiology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway; Patricia McEvoy, Lead Cardiac Cath Technologist at Monmouth Medical Center; and Chad Bousanti, Director of Cardiology Services at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center; met with Chirag Patel, Dean of Academics and Student Success at AIMS Education College of Health Sciences to discuss the potential for increased collaboration with the institution’s cardiology programs, particularly the new Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program. Lauren Burke expressed interest in adding all major hospitals to AIMS Education’s clinical affiliate network.

RWJBarnabas Health Participates in AIMS Career Fair
As part of their visit, RWJBarnabas Health representatives participated in AIMS Education’s on-campus job fair, offering valuable advice to Cardiovascular Technology and Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography students on job interviews, clinical site experiences, and career success.
