Healthcare Training Programs at AIMS
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program equips students with the specialized skills needed to assist in invasive cardiovascular procedures. Graduates will be prepared to assist doctors and nurses in diagnosing and treating heart and vascular diseases.
Medical Billing and Coding
The Medical Billing and Coding program will prepare students to work as a medical biller in a variety of healthcare settings. Areas of study include medical billing, basic medical coding, medical insurance, HIPAA, and electronic health records.
Cardiac Monitor Technician
Cardiac monitor technicians perform and/or monitor various diagnostic procedures related to the heart. Students in this program learn how to perform resting EKGs, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, and rhythm analysis.
Sterile Processing Technician
The Sterile Processing Technician program will prepare students to work as entry-level sterile processing techs. Sterile processing technicians are responsible for maintaining a clean and sterile healthcare environment.
Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant program is designed to train students in basic medical assisting skills. Students in this program will learn how to provide direct patient care and assist with various administrative tasks in a medical office setting.
Patient Care Technician
A patient care technician provides patient care and support under the direction of a registered nurse. The PCT program prepares students to work as entry-level patient care technicians in hospitals or outpatient facilities.
Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician program is a PTCB-Recognized training program. It will prepare students to become skilled, entry-level pharmacy techs. In addition to industry leading training, students will receive practical, hands-on experience.
Anesthesia Technician
This program will prepare students for an entry-level job as an anesthesia technician. Anesthesia technicians set up the operating room by cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing the equipment and instruments needed for anesthesia.

Cardiovascular Technology
This CAAHEP accredited associate degree program will prepare students to work as cardiovascular technologists. Students will learn to perform non-invasive procedures like cardiac sonography or peripheral vascular sonography.
Diagnostic Medical Sonography
This CAAHEP accredited associate degree program is designed to prepare students for a career in diagnostic medical sonography. Students will learn to use ultrasound equipment to create images of internal body structures.
Surgical Technology
This ABHES accredited associate degree program will prepare students to become skilled operating room technicians. Surgical technologists are key members of the surgical team who work closely with surgeons and other surgical staff.
MRI Technology
This ARMRIT accredited, and ARRT approved, associate degree program will prepare students to work as MRI Technologists. MRI technologists use specialized MRI equipment to visualize the internal structures of the human body.
Neurodiagnostic Technology
This CAAHEP accredited associate degree program will prepare students to work as neurodiagnostic technologists. Neurodiagnostic technologists record and study electrical activity in the brain and nervous system.
Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography
This CAAHEP accredited program will prepare students to specialize in Adult Echocardiography. Cardiac sonography is a highly specialized field that requires sonographers to use state-of-the-art equipment to image internal body structures.
EKG/Phlebotomy Technician
The EKG/Phlebotomy Technician training program will prepare students to work as entry-level EKG technicians or phlebotomy technicians. Students in this program will primarily learn how to draw blood and perform EKG tests.
Phlebotomy Technician
The Phlebotomy Technician program will prepare students to work as healthcare technicians specializing in phlebotomy. The primary job responsibilities for a phlebotomist include drawing blood and preparing it for lab testing.
